4. Print Production & Delivery

AD confirms final purchase order with finalised print specs, print samples, quantities & delivery details provided to Artworker, Print Manager & Printer. More complex print jobs may require an AD, Designer, Artworker and Print Manager to meet to discuss the work.

Artworker pre-presses final document based on the purchase order and their ‘Pre-press Check List’.

Artworker and Print Manager review final press pdf for technical issues.

Print Manager or AD organises either hard copy proofs or soft proofs to be sent to the client and/or to the AD. AD organises client sign off of proofs.

Artworker & Designer check proofs. Artworker makes final amends as required and AD provides new artwork to the printer. AD and/or Artworker then sign off final soft proof from printer.

Print Manager press passes or organises contractor.

Once printed the AD confirms it’s been delivered to the agreed destination.

AD or Print Manager organises delivery of print samples to Insight & client.
