2. Discovery Session

AD arranges time for Discovery discussion with client/ participants.

For first time clients, the Strategist reviews any material provided and undertakes own desktop research to understand the client, their audiences, their competitors, and their industry. They provide a summary to the AD and Lead Designer.

Strategist develops Discovery discussion guide and agenda.

  • The discussion guide covers the online vs print question, an explores what sort of digital-first experience the client wants:

    o Flipbook, downloads, hosting etc

    o Additional embedded content e.g. animation, video etc

    o The impact on length and layout of financials.

AD and Lead Designer review discussion guide and agenda and provide feedback.

Strategist leads Discovery session using the discussion guide.

AD and Lead Designer also attend and ask questions to help clarify requirements and their understanding.
