3. Design Concepts

Based on the approved story and territory, the Lead Designer develops the overall Design Concept.

One to three different concepts may be shown, including one that may stretch the client. For each one the Lead Designer explains what the design thinking is and how it aligns with the agreed territory/positioning.

Visuals to include 3-5 collateral examples showing how the design concept may look in practice (client to confirm which would be the most useful to see).

The Lead Designer, Strategist and AD meet and agree the final concepts to be presented, and the final presentation, to the client.

The Lead Designer, Strategist and AD present the Design Concepts to the client.

The client provides feedback and further refines are made to the selected concept if required, for final sign-off.

Note: If the concepts need to be tested the steps to follow are the same as those for 1. Strategy & Positioning testing.
