8. Interim Guidelines and External Supplier Briefing.

The Lead Designer and AD meet to decide the content of interim guidelines. The level of detail will depend on whether we are doing the rollout or someone else. At the very least it should include the signed off visual identity (step 5 or 6), specifications around colours, logo sizes and spacing and any high impact items created (if any) in Step 7.

If print colour testing is required, the AD and Lead Designer brief the Print Manager on requirements.

Lead Designer creates the interim guidelines with help from studio as required.

The interim guidelines are reviewed by the Strategist and AD and updated by the Lead Designer based on feedback.

The AD sends the interim guidelines to the client for feedback.

The interim guidelines are updated based on client feedback.

The client signs-off the final interim guidelines.

The interim guidelines are used to brief all internal parties and external suppliers working on the execution phase.
