An Account Manager can decide to amend the process for a specific project to suit the way the client works, the timeframe, the budget, the outputs required or the creative opportunity available to us. If they change the process they must download the Word Process Template, make the necessary changes and share it with everyone in the project team.

If you have ideas about a process change that would work on a particular job, don’t just do it. Talk to the Account Manager and they can decide whether to adopt it, and if so, how to communicate it to the project team so that everyone knows what’s expected from them.

Phases.

Phases should correspond to timeline and Jobbag phases. This helps everyone understand how the project is progressing.

Our three approaches explained.

  1. Strategic-creative – requires insights into the client’s business and audiences; thinking on the right messages, channels, mediums and engagement frameworks; and the big creative idea or territory to govern our approach.

  2. Design-led – requires a new design approach which is consistent with the strategic-creative thinking previously developed.

  3. Layout-led – applying new content to another item in the established series, using the same design styles and approaches. There is no, or very little, strategic creative.

Process template.

A downloadable Word template that allows process flexibility. The Account Manager may choose to adapt (right size) the steps in the process for the needs of a specific project. They download and amend, then share it with the project team so that everyone knows what process to follow and what is expected from them.
